WE ARE SHAMELESS BEFORE OUR FATHER

When there is shame, you can't look at someone eye-to-eye. But when shame is gone, you can look and fully see the other person.
Shame is what keeps many people from being able to see the love of the Father that dwells inside them. Shame tries to define us, and makes us feel unworthy, and inadequate as a person. Shame causes us to keep track of our wrongs; therefore, we think that our Father does too.
We must see that we are shameless before our Father. He doesn't put shame on us when we mess up, even if it's consciously deliberate. He knows us so, so, deeply, and never treats us according to our behavior.
The Father wants us to look at Him face-to-face. How do we do that if we can't physically see Him? I believe it's a matter of turning our minds towards Him instead of away from Him.
When we feel shame, we avoid talking to Him. Being shameless before Him means we talk to Him about everything, especially when we fail. We can even use our imagination, with His imagination, to see Him in our mind's eye.
I know we will always have feelings of shame that come up. But we don't have to sit in those feelings. We can talk to Father about it and let Him wash away our feelings of shame. Thank you, Father!!
